The Evil of the Left

by Brad Nelson10/2/15

Fox News (home of the journalistic tramp, Megyn Kelly) reports that:

witnesses say gunman, Christopher Harper Mercer, asked potential victims their religion — and shot those who said they were Christian in the head — while online accounts linked to the shooter expressed disdain for organized religion.

Guns aren’t the problem. Atheism may be the problem here. The kind of alienation borne of the vulgar secular culture may be the problem. Facts are still to come out. But one reason Obama and others need to blame guns (besides their evil impulse) is that somewhere inside they know they are creating this kind of anger and alienated human.

Remember: Obama himself supports infanticide (called “partial birth abortion”). There is evil on the Left. There is evil in all segments of society. But the party of atheism, abortion , envy, grievance, mob violence, and vulgarity has built its foundation upon it.

And while we’re at it, I renounce any sympathy or connection with the Republican Party. What a sad beast of corruption it has become. Jeffrey Lord has a good article on that.

About Brad Nelson

I like books, nature, politics, old movies, Ronald Reagan (you get sort of a three-fer with that one), and the founding ideals of this country. We are the Shining City on the Hill — or ought to be. However, our land has been poisoned by Utopian aspirations and feel-good bromides. Both have replaced wisdom and facts.

I was thinking over what the profile of this killer might be. I figured Progressive or atheist, filled with tattoos, and most assuredly was from a single-parent (that is, fatherless) family. I just heard that the father had long gone from the family.

But we can’t demonized single mothers. We can’t demonize atheism. We can’t demonize the culture that instills a sense of alienation and grievance into people. We must bypass all that and blame guns.

Some of you out there have an idea of how deep this goes and where it could lead. There have always been shootings in American and around the world. The world never runs out of deranged people. But we are now actively creating them by undercutting those things that build character and at the same time making excuses and even glorifying those things that tend to make coarse human beings.

Just know that if you are on the Left, you are part of organized evil. Blame the guns if you must. But it would be far better to repent, to realize the dark cloud hanging over that entire ideology.

Do not let the loony libertarians off the hook. Their Never-Never Land thinking is almost as bad as that of the Left. They have to make no value judgments or think things out.

Point taken. Part of my back-of-the-envelope profile of this guy including the possibility of being Libertarian. But I would shade him more toward the atheistic/anarchist cult. Rush had some great words on this subject this morning. In essence, he said we have to stop glorifying deranged people.

    • Timothy Lane says:

As soon as I heard about him, I thought he sounded like a typical leftist, other than his fascination with guns.

How dare you be judgmental!!! It’s Christians like you who are causing all the trouble because you want to force your values on everyone else who just want to be left alone.

You are not a Christian? Well you are still the problem because it’s people like you who who force everyone else to live sensibly as adults when we all want to be infants who do not consider what the repercussions of our actions might be.

We have a community agitator for president. We have dark grievance and soulless destructiveness and deceit at the very top. He went to a anti-Semitic and racist church. The abnormal, even evil, has been normalized.

As Rush said this morning, and I paraphrase, “Obama is giving nukes to Iran and yet he obsesses on guns being the problem domestically.”

I don’t use the word “evil” lightly. But we should call a spade a spade. We should understand that all of these idiotic feel-good ideas of the Left have dire consequences. All they’re Left doing is blaming guns, blaming George Bush, blaming America, blaming whitey…blaming everyone but their own naive utopian ideas.

The anti-Christian bigotry has been institutionalized. While naive and foolish people get the warm-fuzzies about Islam (a truly barbaric religion), they’ve been taught perversely that Christians are the problem. Entire generations of people have been intentionally poisoned by this dogma.

I just checked the Fox News website a little while ago to see what the latest news was (around noon eastern). They told us in the top of the headline that this guy was shooting Christians.

Just for giggles, I went over to CNN. Not a mention of that fact anywhere on the front page, but dozens of articles about gun control and obozo. Clicking to the lead article and going halfway down, there’s a brief mention of Christians – then back to their anti-gun dreck.

The MSNBC headlines said the shooter asked about “religion”, but didn’t use the word Christian.

ABC news says nothing of Christians or religion.

CBS, to their credit, has Christian in their top headline.

    • Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

This isn’t journalism, Bell. It’s intentional evil. It’s deceit. I guess we can at least give Fox News some credit for not ignoring what appears to be a prime motivation of the killer.

That the others obsesses on guns shows the evil throughout the Left, especially as it has effected so-called journalism. They cannot look simple truth in the mouth even though that is supposedly their stated jobs. Instead, they forward the evil agenda, whether they are conscious of it or not.

      • Timothy Lane says:

I call them newsliars because they’re basically professional propagandists. In any shooting, their first goal is to try to connect the shooter to the right. Then they go after guns. Anything that doesn’t help one or another of their agendas is unimportant and can be ignored (especially if it might actually hurt one of those agendas).

        • Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

Still, other than mindless tribal affiliation, I still wonder why most journalists are so willing to throw away their integrity to slant the news to such an extent. This is why I throw around the word, “evil.” You wonder if Beelzebub doesn’t have his horns in more than a few of these people. I mean, to engage in such long-term corruption of the truth and of your profession is a dark art indeed.

          • Timothy Lane says:

I think what it comes down to is that only those who agree with them matter. So we have what amounts to a collective agreement on an un-reality, and all those who share it can ignore everyone who knows better. So no matter how much they lie, their own tribe believes them — and who cares what the enemy tribe thinks of them?
