Spineless Leaders Have Infiltrated The Military

Liberalism has succeeded in infiltrating US military, America’s last bastion of discipline, honor and respect. Liberals have succeeded in destroying the family, education, the economy and just about everything they set their sights on. It seems that they were not satisfied until they could force their agenda on the world’s most powerful and disciplined military.

This week, the Army ROTC Cadets at Arizona State University were forced to walk around campus in uniform wearing red pumps for an event called “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” to raise awareness of sexual violence against women on college campuses. As reported by the Washington Times, in 2014, the Army encouraged participation in the April event. However; this year, the ROTC candidates at ASU were faced with a volunteer event that became mandatory. Or, they were voluntold, the term we use to use in the military.

As a retired veteran, to see the photo of the young future leaders being humiliated walking around in red pumps made my blood boil. There are a number of things wrong with this situation. First, the so-called rape culture on college campus is an invention by feminist. Secondly, the soldiers are out of uniform. According to Army Regulations AR670-1- Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia, a military member must wear his or her uniform in a way that projects an image of discipline and order and is prohibited from wearing a combination of civilian and military clothing.

 Appearance.

(1) All personnel will maintain a high standard of professional dress and appearance. Uniforms will fit properly; the

proper fitting of uniforms is provided in DA Pam 670–1. Personnel must keep uniforms clean, serviceable, and rollpressed,

as necessary. Soldiers must project a military image that leaves no doubt that they live by a common military

standard and uphold military order and discipline.

Required or prohibited wearing of the Army uniform

e. Wearing a combination of civilian and military clothing is prohibited, unless prescribed in this regulation or

directed by the Secretary of the Army.

The most infuriating part of the entire situation is the realization that some spineless military leader pressured these young men into participating in such lunacy. Whoever is responsible for caving to this foolishness deserves a steel-toed combat boot planted firmly in his or her gluteus maximus. One of the humiliated ROTC cadets took to social media to complain about it:

“Attendance is mandatory and if we miss it we get a negative counseling and a ‘does not support the battalion sharp/EO mission’ on our CDT OER for getting the branch we want. So I just spent $16 on a pair of high heels that I have to spray paint red later on only to throw them in the trash after about 300 of us embarrass the U.S. Army tomorrow,”

It is disheartening to realize that it only took a few short years to turn the finest military into some kind of social experiment. If there is anything that liberals hate the most, it is an organization that trains and develops young men and women to love his or her country and to be strong leaders, self-reliant, and independent thinkers. The image of strong discipline men and women does to liberals what the image of the cross does to Dracula.

The feminization of men. The installment of the female way of thinking and doing things as the default. And, of course, all of this is based on the assumption that women are misunderstood victims.

What can you do? This crap has filtered down to PeeWee football where they have days (or months) where some of the boys where pink (shoes, or whatever). The NFL does this crap as well.

Maybe if there was a day where women had to walk around in jockstraps it would all makes some sense and balance out. But all this is based on the idea that women are victims.

If I had my druthers, except in a time of war, there would be no women in the military. I believe that any culture worth its salt does what it can to protect women, not put them into combat.

What goes on in our world at this time is astounding in its stupidity. Makes me want to scratch a few faces right down the middle to mark the toads who rape young men and women this way.

    • Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

What is advertised as “awareness” is actually typical Orwellian humiliation. That’s what’s going on here.

  3. Tim Jones says:

Bill Clinton, the apotheosis of the feminization of men seen walking around DC recently in pink sneakers.

  4. Timothy Lane says:

Unfortunately, I don’t think this is spinelessness, at least not directly. It’s outright moral corruption, starting at the very top with Martin Dempsey. Careerism makes the top leadership do whatever Barry Screwtape Obama tells them to do regardless of “duty, honor, country” — and that includes filling key decision-making positions with militant liberals.

We see this in their hostility to Christianity, their decisions regarding women in combat (and the likely lowering of standards in order to make sure there are enough infantrywomen) and open homosexuals (which may or may not have been a good idea, but was imposed for the sake of the homofascist movement, not national defense), and now idiocies like this.

But this is just more proof that liberalism is a mental disorder, and in fact a severe one that increasingly involves completely losing touch with reality.

    • Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

Moral corruption indeed. And cowardice, particularly in regards to the military command, might be one of the most severe corruptions of all. I like how AllAmericanAmerican said it at American Thinker:

I retired in 2009. As far back as about 2006, I was posting on this and other sites about how stuff like this–this PC social engineering–was happening in the military. I told of “leaders” who were only interested in networking and promotions and who were only too happy to implement stupid and insipid policies that had nothing to do with the mission. I told of a morale problem among the enlisted corps. I was told I was “disgruntled” or that I “hate the military.” Some folks even questioned my service or called me a “sorry excuse for a SNCO.”

      • M Farrell says:

Can you imagine Gen. Eisenhower ever allowing his soldiers to be humiliated this way?!?

        • Timothy Lane says:

I have a photo of one of my relatives reviewing his troops with President Eisenhower (that uncle was from the GOP side of the family, the ones related to Lincoln). You can bet none of those had high-heeled shoes. But that was back when we had decent leaders, not the worthless likes of Martin Dempsey.

        • Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

No. Well…but I have to admit, he was pretty much an Establishment Republican in his time. Let’s just say I can’t imagine Patton every allowing his soldiers to do this.

  5. Brad Nelson Brad Nelson says:

Quite on-topic, I wrote this not long ago.

  6. Russ Glabais says:

So what comes next? Marines ordered to wear tampons as earrings? No coherent thought will ever be allowed to escape from a progressive mind.

  7. NAHALKIDES NAHALKIDES says:

Further proof, from Patricia, that whatever Leftism touches it corrupts (and whatever it controls, it destroys). Episodes like this remind us that one of the reasons Libertarians and “fiscal conservatives/social liberals” (quotes added because I don’t believe this animal truly exists) are so useless in the fight against the Left is that they don’t realize the conflict is fundamentally one of values, values we Conservatives are trying to Conserve and which they refuse to consider. This is another way of saying that the fight is taking place on levels other than strictly political (although politicized to the extent possible by the Left – hence the corruption). We need to reverse the Left’s “long march through the institutions,” and as we see here, these institutions include not just obvious ones like the Republican Party and Academia but also the U.S. military.

    • Timothy Lane says:

In some cases it’s probably still possible to deal with the problem by exposing their attacks to light, and forcing them to scuttle away like roaches. Even in our corrupted culture, for example, I suspect most people would see something wrong with this particular idiocy. The same thing is true of the various antics of the homofascists (which even many liberals, and for that matter homosexuals, oppose). Expose them to the light. Some people will see, and learn. Without such exposure, they won’t.

    • Kung Fu Zu Kung Fu Zu says:

We need to reverse the Left’s “long march through the institutions,” and as we see here, these institutions include not just obvious ones like the Republican Party and Academia but also the U.S. military.

People have to understand that this is a long term war which is being waged against us.

The institutions include, but are not limited too,

      1. The news media
      2. Television
      3. The film industry
      4. Main line protestant churches
      5. The public education system
      6. The tertiary education system
      7. The government bureaucracy
      8. Much of the internet
      9. The legal profession
      10. The publishing industry

This should give people pause. It was Pericles who said, “just because you may not be interested in politics, doesn’t mean politics will not be interested in you.” Trotsky took that further and said, “you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.”

But Pericles also said, “Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it.”

You are in a war whether you like it or not. The only question is are you going to give in like sheep or fight like men?

  8. M Farrell says:

    “or fight like men?”

Mr. Kung– I think it’s the “fight like men” characteristic/ability that marching these young soldiers around in red high heels (and humiliating them) that these loons are trying to eradicate .

    • Timothy Lane says:

Quite likely. Liberals hate manliness (which some call “testosterone poisoning”), though they can tolerate a touch of it in women.

  9. ronlsb says:

Patricia–I always enjoy your articles and this one was no exception. First, I respect your viewing all things from a biblical viewpoint, as I try to do myself. But I now know you are an Air Force veteran as well. We have two things in common and I can enjoy you’re writing even more. Heaven only knows where this nonsense will end, or even if it will end. Keep up the good work!!
