I am having a rather difficult time suppressing my delight. Delight that the derelict and deceitful national media that carried Obama’s water before, during, and after his two elections as President is now crying the blues. That sound you hear is fake crying from me accompanied by a maudlin solo played on the world smallest violin (shown below).
WORLD’S SMALLEST VIOLIN
What is the former in-the-tank, gung-ho propagandizing news agencies for Obama now crying about?
[September 17, 2014] “CHICAGO (AP) — Editors and reporters meeting in Chicago raised concerns Wednesday about what they described as a lack of access and transparency undermining journalists’ work, several blaming the current White House for setting standards for secrecy that are spreading nationwide.
” ‘The White House push to limit access and reduce transparency has essentially served as the secrecy road map for all kinds of organizations — from local and state governments to universities and even sporting events,’ Brian Carovillano, AP managing editor for U.S. news, said during a panel discussion.”

Tut…tut…tut. Doesn’t sound like a result of what was promised, so faithfully, by Obama, does it? Doesn’t sound exactly like what the sycophantic media raved so much about, does it?
“Here’s newly sworn in President Obama, welcoming his senior staff to the White House in January of 2009:
“ ‘I will also hold myself as president to a new standard of openness …. Let me say it as simply as I can: Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.’
“From a subsequent Obama Administration memo on transparency that bears the president’s signature:
“ ‘My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.’
“White House Press Secretary Jay Carney in May of last year:
“ ‘This president has demonstrated a commitment to transparency and openness that is greater than any administration has shown in the past, and he’s been committed to that since he ran for president and he’s taken a significant number of measures to demonstrate that.’ “
—Most Transparent Administration Evah
File this away somewhere safe so that you don’t lose this record of Obama and Jay Carney telling outrageous lies about the Obama Administration’s transparency.
Remember when you turn on your TV and see Jay Carney in his new job at CNN (if you can stand to watch CNN, I can’t); remember the liar who was Jay Carney’s boss, and don’t forget, never forget that Jay Carney demonstrated time and again since 2011 that he is willing to tell and promote any lie that supports Barack Obama.
Do you really want to get any of your news from Jay Carney, or from a network (CNN) that will hire such a liar? Americans should develop long memories concerning liars such as Barack Obama and his primary support-liars.
And how does Obama’s “transparency” compare with the former essence-of-evil (according to the Progressive media) President George W. Bush?
[September 19, 2014 ] Guantanamo: The big important 9/11 trial is finally coming up. But we aren’t allowed to see most court filings in real time — even of nonclassified material. So at hearings, we can’t follow what’s happening. We don’t know what prosecutors are asking for, or what defense attorneys are arguing.
Information about Guantanamo that was routinely released under President George W. Bush is now kept secret. The military won’t release the number of prisoners on hunger strike or the number of assaults on guards. Photo and video coverage is virtually nonexistent. —Washington Bureau Chiefs
Schadenfreude is a German word, well-known to many English-speaking people and it means “Delight in another person’s misfortune.” It is not a Christian concept and in fact it is a sinful concept.
I plan to privately ask for forgiveness, just as soon as I can stop smirking and chuckling.
