Our President: The Aggrieved-in-Chief

Al Sharptonby Brad Nelson
It seems that along with Thomas Sowell, we might have to make John Derbyshire a patron saint of this site. In a provocative article a year or so ago, The Derb noted the growing danger of the many blacks who are the product of racial grievance stoked by the Democrats and other race hustlers.

Derb was ousted by Rich Lowry for making some difficult observations that were based upon little more than the evil soil that had already been laid by the Left, Democrats, and others. There is a reality out there whether we wish to acknowledge it or not.

I just read a good piece by Bryce Buchanan in American Thinker: Faces of Evil in a Violent Underclass. The article speaks for itself, but one of the comments to the article was clarifying:

“Faces of Evil in a Violent Underclass

Alternate headline: The faces of the Sons of Obama.

“He boasted on twitter that he had “knocked out 5 woods [whites] since Zimmerman court”.

He acted on the words of Obama and Holder and Sharpton.

He advised others to “HATE” white people”

He passed on Obama’s and Holder’s and Sharpton’s clearly broadcast sentiments.

Obama has remained silent on even these most recent black on white, the norm, racist murders, Oklahoma and Spokane, by those he calls his sons because of their race. Obama has never hesitated to speak out on a local matter, even a minor one, when it suits him, so at this point his continued deafening silence equals further approval and go ahead. And the continued deafening silence of the MSM equals their continued de facto approval and go ahead.

Feralcat’s point is a good one: Obama and the mainstream media are being silent regarding these obviously racially-motivated crimes and thus they are giving tacit approval.

It was bizarre, obscene, brutal, evil, demonic, and perverted when George Zimmerman — whose life now may never be the same — was castigated for being racially-motivated even though there was no evidence of it. In fact, there is ample evidence that he has gone out of his way to help his fellow man, regardless of color.

There must be many people such as myself who wonder if we are devolving to a nation of bigoted and violent tribal identities. And it seems we are, aided and abetted by the dark hearts of people such as Obama and Holder who so obviously have a grievance against people (white people) based upon nothing else than skin color.

There is a price to be paid for stoking anger in people, black, white, or whatever the race. Dennis Prager notes that it is a sense of victimhood that has propelled mankind to some of his worst and most bloody acts, for once you believe that you are a victim, man will often have no trouble victimizing others. And we see this playing out now in these random acts of racially-motivated violence by some blacks upon whites and for no other reason than skin color.

There is no changing the minds of bigots such as Obama, Holder, Sharpton, and all those who have a racial axe to grind.  But we can throw these types out of office and out of their positions of power. It is therefore incumbent upon stupid white liberals to quit kowtowing to this evil in our midst.

Either skin color matters or it doesn’t. Either we divide along lines of race or we don’t. Either we believe the BS coming out of the deceitful mouths of the grievance-mongers or we don’t. It is our choice. We must take care to use our votes, dollars, and moral voice wisely. No longer can we afford to silently acquiescent to this great evil amongst us. We must speak out against grievance, bigotry, and the people who, for selfish and evil reasons, do all they can to stoke a sense of victimhood in people.

It is way past time to send these race hustler and bigots packing. We dare not stoke the flames of a racial war by giving any group a free pass to act barbarically and with impunity. We cannot reward such people at the polls, reward them with our money, or reward them by giving them a moral deference that they do not deserve. They, instead, deserve our moral outrage. • (978 views)

About Brad Nelson

I like books, nature, politics, old movies, Ronald Reagan (you get sort of a three-fer with that one), and the founding ideals of this country. We are the Shining City on the Hill — or ought to be. However, our land has been poisoned by Utopian aspirations and feel-good bromides. Both have replaced wisdom and facts.

All of that is fine Brad unless you put an 0bama mask on and get chased around by bulls… That’s just too far…LOL (End sarcasm here.)

LOL. So true, Pat. We live in an upside down world at the moment. It’s morally confused and a large portion of that has to do with moral cowardice.

Dr. Sowell wrote an article a number years back where he pointed out that EVERY time, racial preferences has been put in place. Race relationships have plummeted. And the reason is straightforward.
When you tell people that what group you are a member of is more important than who you are as a person, then people will start to behave as if their race is their most important characteristic.
When you set up the laws so that govt picks winners and losers based on little more than their race, than it will be natural for members of each racial group to view the members of other racial groups as competitors at best, enemies at worst. Anything gained by other groups, is something lost by your group.

Any conceit that the Left has of being the “nice” people is countermanded by their belief in race-based politics. If one is self-described “Progressive,” you are not a nice person. You are an enabler or racial division and strife. In contradiction to MLK, you help people profit from and forward racial strife.

MLK had it right about judging people by the content of their character rather than their skin color. And yet we’ve voted into the office of presidency a man who judges according to skin color.

It seems mankind is a slow learner. America is about all men being equal, not all men being a member of endless grievance groups. The Left should be ashamed of themselves for forwarding their noxious poison.

Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington understood the right approach over a century ago: Brotherly love, hard work, education, strong families, and no grievance. And yet these men are ignored and in their place we put the poison of Obama, Holder, and the rest of these race hustlers.

“It seems that mankind is a slow learner.”

As Agent K said in “Men in Black”, “A person is smart. People are dumb.” I fear the same is true here. A man can learn but mankind is incapable of learning. Part of the problem is that judging a man on the content of his mind and the quality of his character requires a person to engage in critical thinking. Unfortunately, it strikes me that most people are either incapable of such a task, too lazy to attempt it, or are just plain evil and judge everything based on issues we have no control over. My conlaw professor would say why not judge people on the color of the hair, its just as dumb as judging based on skin color.

I love how the left can publish political cartoons of Condelezza Rice in an Aunt Jemima get up with babies dropped out from under her dress and yet they call the Right racists. The sad part is how so few people can seem to see through this obvious hypocrocy.

I fear that we are hurtling towards, and have been for some time, a society that will become completly fractured, Balkanized if you will, all because of the lie of multiculturalsim.

Trivia – does anyone know where the phrase “men in black” came from?
