Right on. Fire or kick these ingrates off the teams. Mr. Kung, here's my latest Facebook post on the subject:
I’m not boycotting the NFL. A boycott presumes that you will withhold your support until such time the other party changes its behavior.
And although it’s certainly possible in the short-term that NFL owners will require their players to uphold their legal contract obligations to them (let alone their moral obligation to this country), long-term there’s no chance in Hades that NFL players, who were mostly suckled on Social Justice Grievance, will do anything but offer short-term lip service. They, ESPN, and the rest of league officials will not change their hearts although it’s possible they will jump through some hoops for your money and viewership.
I’m not mad. I’m not boycotting the NFL, for a boycott presumes I will get over my short-term anger and eventually set my flabby ass down in the La-Z-Boy, grab a bag of chips, and enjoy a little sport. And if you want to kiss and make up, that’s your doing.
But there were some fine college football games on free TV yesterday. I more than got my fix. The NFL can go to politically-correct hell. The only thing that would bring me back is if Jack Lambert crashes through the studio door on Monday Night Football and beats some sense into these weenies.
