Here is an example of a coach who doesn't stand for his players showing disrespect for the anthem while on the team.

http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/10/01/texas-teens-thrown-high-school-football-team-after-kneeling-anthem

In fact, I have more sympathy with these two kids than the NFL jackasses. (By jackasses I mean everyone involved including owners.) At least the teenagers are in school and the Supreme Court gave permission for students not to stand for the Pledge.

No football was watched today. And I talked to some other fans who didn't watch as well. Let's hope this continues.

Note that NFL rules apparently require that the teams be out on the field during the national anthem, and that they treat the flag with proper respect. So all the protestor are violating the rules, but the league chose not to punish them as they did those who sought to honor the police.

Right on. Fire or kick these ingrates off the teams. Mr. Kung, here's my latest Facebook post on the subject:

I’m not boycotting the NFL. A boycott presumes that you will withhold your support until such time the other party changes its behavior.

And although it’s certainly possible in the short-term that NFL owners will require their players to uphold their legal contract obligations to them (let alone their moral obligation to this country), long-term there’s no chance in Hades that NFL players, who were mostly suckled on Social Justice Grievance, will do anything but offer short-term lip service. They, ESPN, and the rest of league officials will not change their hearts although it’s possible they will jump through some hoops for your money and viewership.

I’m not mad. I’m not boycotting the NFL, for a boycott presumes I will get over my short-term anger and eventually set my flabby ass down in the La-Z-Boy, grab a bag of chips, and enjoy a little sport. And if you want to kiss and make up, that’s your doing.

But there were some fine college football games on free TV yesterday. I more than got my fix. The NFL can go to politically-correct hell. The only thing that would bring me back is if Jack Lambert crashes through the studio door on Monday Night Football and beats some sense into these weenies.

My wife, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen, cannot stand these ingrates. I am the one who normally talks to the TV, but in this case she gets so annoyed when she sees or hears these idiots that she tells them to leave America if they don't like it here.

Rush was just saying the libtards at ESPN have decided to televise the national anthem tonight on Monday Night Football. Whether or not there will be players kneeling, I don't know. Whether or not this has something to do with the Las Vegas shootings, I don't know. Will I watch? Hell, no. But what a bloodbath in Las Vegas.

The murderer, Steve Paddock (I think Paddock was the name of one of the witches' familiars in MacBeth), seems to have used an automatic weapon, which is extremely hard to acquire legally.

Not that hard to modify any semi-auto weapon to become fully auto Timothy. So he would not have to acquire them, just make them from another semi-auto. But as we all know the problem is not the gun, it is with the person holding the gun.

He could have dropped bowling balls from the 32nd floor and probably killed a few people. The unknown story at this point is what his cause was, what his grievance was (in this culture that spends so much time fomenting grievance), and who, if any, his conspirators were.

But what a horror. It's getting to the point where you take your life into your own hands when being in a big crowd. Trump got this right: It was "an act of pure evil." And the fucktard Progressives in the media remain morally bankrupt as they obsess on the types of guns used.

Converting a semi-auto to full auto is illegal. However, there are accessories (such as a bump stock, which the witch's familiar had on at least one gun) that can make it a lot faster, perhaps even close to the speed of full automatic. We may see a virtual ban on them. This wouldn't be bad if accompanied by deregulating suppressors.

I watched much of Sheriff Bambino's (I forget his name) press conference today. He seems like a sensible man. Not much came out of the press conference. But we did learn that Wayne Newton and his wife donated $100,000. And there was (I think) an anonymous $500,000 donor. And MGM (or whoever owned the hotel) donated $3 million. A nice gesture. He gave the name and address of the two local places taking donations. One was Catholic Charities.

Sadly, it sounds as if a number of people got trampled in the melee. You have to wonder what demon got ahold of this guy. ISIS has claimed responsibility. His girlfriend skedaddled to the Philippines two weeks before the massacre. And apparently a lot of money was wired to the Philippines by the boyfriend. She is officially a "person of interest."

One good point a reporter made was how come no one working at the hotel noticed anything in this guy's room?
