The Judiciary Committee Demagogues have been demonstrating why none should be on the committee. Several of the vermin have proclaimed not only that they believe Ford without looking at the evidence (such as it is), but have done so on the basis that men are always guilty and women never lie (viciously sexist bigotry), or that accusation is sufficient for condemnation (denial of due process and presumption of innocence), that Ford should not have to face the man she accused (a basic historical legal right). Of course, we all know that their only concern is blocking Kavanaugh. They've shown regarding the likes of Juanita Broaddrick and Karen Monahan that they don't believe any of their slime.
So what should Charles Grassley do next Monday? To start with, he should list every one of these gross offenses (not to mention the personal attacks on the GOP members of the committee) and cite every one of the Demagogues who engaged in each -- and point out why such people have no business being on the Judiciary Committee. Then he should cite Tawana Brawley, the Duke lacrosse team, the UVA case, and mattress girl -- and point out that every one of these vermin has basically proclaimed that the innocent men in each case should have been convicted. Then he should bring Broaddrick and Monahan to testify to their experiences, and give these vermin their chance to live up to their professed principles or have their blatant hypocrisy exposed to the public.
When a dog craps on the carpet, you start by rubbing its face in it as a lesson. That's what Grassley needs to do to each of these vermin -- long pig Hirono (D-HI), sow Feinswein (D-CA), camel-face Harris (D-CA), mother of lies Gillibrand (D-NY), and viper's get Blumenthal (D-CT). (The D, of course, stands for Disgusting.)
Then, after that, they can testify and be questioned by lawyers -- assuming false accuser Ford actually shows up, having demanded to testify some other time (delay, delay, delay), that Kavanaugh go first (before she has given the full version of her story), and that only Senators question her (forcing a bunch of male Republicans to question and be denounced as misogynists no matter what they ask). I would recommend Judge Jeannine Pirro as the temporary GOP staff lawyer.
