I have long thought this guy was a phony. Now there is proof or at least a hint that it is so.

His demeanor is about the most fake on TV, and considering the medium is built on pretending, that says a lot about ole Chaz.

They are certainly continuing their pursuit of Al Franken.

I think they could have chosen a better example that Arianna Huffington, a slag who slept her way to the top, starting with Bernard Levin in the U.K. and continuing with her very mixed up millionaire ex-husband Michael Huffington.

But that makes 3 women, and that starts to make the pressure on Franken very serious. Fortunately for the Demagogues, the governor would be able to replace him with another one, hopefully not a sexual abuser.

I don't recall the third woman, but I believe Tweeden and Huffington are somewhat less pure than the driven snow, so I don't take them too seriously. Franken may well be a pig, but one can't help but wonder whether these women were upset with him at the time, but silently accepted his piggish blandishments because they could get something from him and only now come out as they don't need him any longer. Like the tipsy horny girl who willingly slept with the guy last night, but regrets it today, so she yells rape.

The other woman claims Franken groped her at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010, when he was already a Senator.

That type of thing might make men feel safer. There’s little chance these robots will accuse you of sexual harassment.

Well, that depends on the programming. Would you bet against Silicon Valley companies programming them to complain about Republicans but not Democrats?

A Rose By Any Other Name

The claims made against Rose, 75, in The Post's report included groping female acquaintances and walking around naked in their presence.

Is this just getting too funny yet?

"He doesn't get a pass because I can't stop thinking about the anguish of these women; what happened to their dignity, what happened to their bodies, what happened to maybe even their careers," King said. "I can't stop thinking about that and the pain they're going through."

Seeing Charlie Rose naked would surely be a traumatic event.

Some charges are true. Some are exaggerated. Some are false. But I suspect they all exist in a backdrop honestly described by Emily Lindin:

"Sorry. If some innocent men's reputations have to take a hit in the process of undoing the patriarchy, that is a price I am absolutely willing to pay."

But maybe if this type of toxic-feminist attitude is part of the basic infrastructure that Rich Lowry sees being scrapped, then it's a good thing. Forgive me my more cynical doubts.
