I'm no friend of Al Franken, but this "sexual harassment" is now surpassing the Salem Witch Trials. Yeah, this photo is juvenile, but then this is an ex Saturday Night Live writer/performer. Guys do this sort of thing.

Plus, this is just feminine fascism. Imagine Tom Selleck asleep on some plane and a stewardess (or female Senator) gave him a peck on the cheek. Would there be a scandal?

As much as I dislike Al Franken, we dare not cede complete power to women. But that is what is happening now.

We need to work up standards of what is and is not acceptable, and what standards of proof apply. But the leftists want everything vague, so that they can use "harassment" to attack their foes while defending their friends (though the witch hunt is now interfering with that).

What I see happening is mass hysteria. I don’t watch the local news but my brother informed me that one of the local news stations now has a regular “Sex Harassment Alert” banner.

I can think of a hundred reasons for replacing the nitwit Leftist, Al Franken, with a conservative. But I can think of ten thousand reasons why a silly junior high prank should be judged as no more than that.

I saw the woman who complained about Franken on TV and she is clearly trying to look serious and chaste with her dark glasses and tasteful attire. But since I had never heard of Leeann Tweeden, or whatever her name is, I did a quick search on her.

Frankly, this woman makes her living selling tits and ass. She posed nude for Playboy and the few pictures of her which I looked at show her abundant bosom overflowing very low cut dresses. Does anyone wonder how she dressed for the USO tour she went on?

Now let's suppose she dressed like a 1920's schoolmarm instead of like a slut. Perhaps old Al would not have even thought of accosting her. I am not saying Al is completely innocent here, but I am saying Leeann has some culpability for how people perceive her, i.e. as a loose woman, and that has consequences. I know leftists and libertarians think that everyone should be able to do exactly as they want without consequences. But that is asking people to be out of control on the one hand, yet acting like robots on the other. It ain't gonna happen.

Some leftists have in fact tried to use her background to defend Franken. It apparently doesn't help that she's pro-gun (and often shown with one in her pictures) and reportedly voted for Trump. One suspects the latter two aspects are what especially annoy them.

Mr. Kung. Women are sexually liberated. Cause and effect have been postponed or overwritten. You’re just slut-shaming. Not that she’s a slut. Not that there’s anything wrong with be a slut.

But if all Al Franken did is pantomime a breast-grabbing, it’s unbecoming as a Senator but it was the idiots in Minnesota who elected an SNL player to represent them. Unless one wants to give into feminine fascism, I think they should let it slide. Much more serious is Al Franken’s support for killing the unborn. Get outraged over that, will ya libtards?

I was sitting at the hotel this weekend having breakfast, while Sandy attended the communist conference... err... I mean the Washington School Board Directors Association conference in Belleview. In the dinning room they were playing Meet the depressed or one of the stupid talking head shows on Sunday morning, (at least it was not the NFL), and this was the topic for whole conversation, (at least as long as I could take this drivel). As I sat there I could not help but see this as the famous chickens coming home to roost or maybe even better is having your cake and eating it too.
Like probably all fathers of girls, I would comedown so hard on anyone that sexually assaulted one of my girls, that the world would most likely never find that person again. That being said, what is it that the Femi-Nazi's have been saying for 50 years? Women can be just like men, they can have casual sex, use sex to get what we want, (this one is not new at all), one night stands, play grab crotch with the boys and your a sexist if you think differently or assume that women are different in any way than a man. But now, after all these years, somehow they feel violated for using the proverbial casting couch to get ahead, (no pun intended). Do not get me wrong, I say cut the balls off of any guy that forces women into this, (the Harvey Wienstiens of the world), but when the women are throwing themselves at men in power or with wealth, they are doing it for a reason. And it is not because the Al Frankens' or Wienstiens' of the world are so stinking attractive. They have something that these women want; and if they put out, they think they will get that thing they want. There is a joke about the idea that we are all whores, it is just the price that needs to be negotiated.
But now women are the weaker sex in this, they want to claim that they had no choice in this, that all women are victims of the evil male, that the women can tease and flirt and dress in ways that drive men nuts, if a man reacts he is pure evil. Well I am sorry, but God designed men in a way that would help mankind survive, and women have been using that nature against men from the beginning. Eve eats the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of all things good and evil, she holds out the fruit to Adam and Adam looks and says wow a naked women, OK, bite what?
So women, what is it going to be, do you keep the advantage you have had over men for millennial, sex and the ability to with hold it; while being considered ladies and the weaker sex? Or do you want to become like us pigs, wallowing in the muck and mud, somehow trying to get the slime off of us and knowing that as soon as we make a little progress, some one else will come along and hit us with a bucket load slop, non-victims and strong from the struggle, (or at least that is what men used to be before we were emasculated by the Femi-Nazis).

LOL. Well said, Pat. All of it.

What I see happening is just a further power grab by women under the guise of victimhood. And it’s a convenient time to do so because there are a few prominent people such as Harvey Weinstein who are hard to defend. And if you do defend the idea that women are now living in the world of sexual equality (matching men in their use of sex) that they always wanted and are now suffering some of the consequences of it, you are painted as an uncaring man of toxic masculinity.

With the balls already cut off of most men, what we see happening is the inevitable free-for-wall, a feeding frenzy of victimhood by women. “Forty years ago he touched my butt.” Oh, brother. How horrible, even if true. And we have no idea because we know for certain now after the Duke Lacrosse fiasco that women will indeed lie about sex.

What few are asking is: Didn’t many of these women use their sex to get what they wanted? This is a forbidden topic. Woman are always victims. Men have to bend themselves always to the will of women and what they think is politically and sexually correct. End of discussion.

It has been noticed, I think for a couple of decades, that feminists claim to be the equals of men but are willing to use a victim status that belies their claims when it suits them. This is nothing more than leftist doublethink, another example of their use of 1984 as a guidebook.
