One of the “Rational Exoduses” Jews can make is out of the Left, out of Britain’s Labour Party, and perhaps out of Europe itself eventually. Julie Lenarz writes of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party: Labour-Party Anti-Semitism — Scotland Yard Launches an Investigation

Well, that would be an escape from bondage, after all. True socialism -- government ownership of the means of production -- ultimately enslaves labor. John Hospers, in his book Libertarianism quoted the (presumably leftist) comedian Lenny Bruce on the superiority (to the consumer, though the same principle applies to the worker) of capitalism over communism. The crucial point he observed is the choice provided by competition.

My only question is if the Labour Party is picking up this anti-Semitism as a popular appeal to the Muslim horde . . . or if it stems from something else.

Both, I suspect. There are a lot of Muslims in many British urban centers, such as "Londonistan" but also, e.g., the rape capital of Rotherham. They're naturally inclined to vote Labor anyway due to the affinities between Islamism and the left. But there is a lot of anti-Semitism here in America (partly because they see the Palestinians as underdogs and the Israelis as overdogs, and generalize from there), and no doubt it's spread to other Western leftists.

Yeah, “both” might be the right answer indeed.

I have no idea what the Labour party is for today. I just figure they’re basically Communists. Here's an article with some background. Yikes.

I was told the other day by a fellow who’s reading the book, Deep Truth, that the Neanderthals are not related to modern humans but are an entirely different species. Given what the Labour party says they are for, maybe the Neanderthals (somehow, somewhere) are glad that some are saying they are not associated with modern humans.

The article makes at least one error. The Liberal Party was the leading opposition to the Conservatives. Asquith and Lloyd George were Liberals. Sometime in the 1920s Labor took over the role, though the first time they formed the government it was in alliance with (I think) the Liberals. But once Britain became Conservatives on the right (well, sort of) and Labor on the left, the Liberals in the middle collapsed. Two-party systems generally have little room for third parties, even ones that used to be in the top two.

Homo erectus would be happy not to be related to leftists. I think of them as more subhuman than that, probably a bunch of australopithecines. Or maybe the Flores hobbits.

No, I haven't seen the Freddie Mercury movie. My brother saw it the other day and said it was really good.
