Democratic Principle

by John D. Neese7/7/15

DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLE means a simple majority rules.

The U.S. Constitution was and is an ambitious and fragile thing. It was conceived and written with the thought that people could govern themselves by using Christian beliefs. This thought is not stated anywhere within its contents but is implied everywhere within, and The Declaration of Independence states it plainly.

It is said and to some extent proved that lawyers where at first excluded from any elected position of government. There were safeguards to prevent the Federal Government and or the States from becoming too powerful.

Where within the Constitution are the rights of the people or the rights of the states given to the “rulings” of the nine unelected judges of the supreme Court?

This Constitution plainly guaranteed to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, Article IV, section 4. This means a government of the people and by the people. So, over a period of 239 years we the people delegate this power to elected people of our choice to represent us using the democratic principle of majority rules to perform in our stead.

The Politburo does not require to have constitutional grounding beyond that which it can use for its pronouncements.

If Politburo offends those of a religious bent, I could substitute “Curia” as the Supreme Court certainly is part of a new religion.

Ha, Ha. Although you jest, with me, you are so close to the truth it really hurts.

    Kung,
I wish there were some way to say you are wrong–there isn’t.

Ambitious and fragile indeed. That’s a great description, John.

See our Ten Commandments symposium to get an idea of the truth that America is primarily founded upon Judeo-Christian ethics…as opposed to Leftist ethics where coveting is not only considered right, it’s encouraged. Where abortion (killing) is encouraged. Where adultery (and gender bending) is encouraged. Where stealing (laundered through government) of other people’s property is encouraged. Where lying (if only in the broad Orwellian sense where society itself becomes a lie) is encouraged. Where the making of idols — including Mother Gaia — is encouraged. The only commandment it holds to is the first, but government is the god that one shalt have no other gods above.

One look at any Islamic backward hellhole will show you that it’s not just what’s in the drinking water that is the difference between cultures. Not every single thing is traceable directly to the Judeo-Christian tradition. But significant parts are. And because we are fish swimming in those waters, we don’t see the water. We take it for granted. You have the Left pulling down things right and left, but there is still the inertial of those Judeo-Christian values. They are wearing thin and the are wearing out. But there is a lag before their influence is no longer felt.

It’s what Dennis Prager calls “cut-flower ethics.” You can cut some flowers and stick them in a vase and they’ll look pretty for a while. But they won’t last long without being grounded in the soil. The same with the various ethics we take for granted. It might seem for a time that men don’t matter, that marriage doesn’t matter, that integrity and truth don’t matter. After all, now that we have 57 genders to choose from, we’re still here, right? The world hasn’t ended. But there is still some lag from the leftover Judeo-Christian ethics. But cut off from the grounding of those traditional ethics, things won’t stay nice for long. Theodore Dalrymple in his many books describes what those places look like that are bound to no other ethics than Leftist ethics. And such places are hell holes.

Delusion abounds. I write these words in some hope that by understanding the insanity of the Left, maybe that can go a ways to fixing it. But the insanity just keeps piling up.

I doubt many multiculturalists actually even believe what they say, though the students they miseducate might. If nothing else, they reject their own culture in a way they reject no other. Nor do they consider the undesirable aspects of other cultures (such as female circumcision) as something they want to bring here. But they won’t fight them, and indeed will fight those who do fight such acts, which is how the Rotherham rapes continued for well over a decade.

I was musing earlier about how amazing it is that insects can have such complex behavior, and do such amazing things as pattern recognition and other visual tricks, with a brain smaller than a grain of sand. But with are huge brains, we seem to be so easily bamboozled.

One of the most amazing aspects of the Cult of Leftism is its ability to get people to believe diametrically conflicting things. We’re all homophobes for not “celebrating” (that is, not having anal sex on a regular basis) gayness. And yet who is one of the Left’s biggest friends (in their own minds, anyway)? Yes, Islam, the totalitarian ideology that is very unkind to homosexuals. And women.

I guess this cognitive dissonance is lubricated by the ideology of multiculturalism which states that “Such things are appropriate to their culture.” And this is consistent with perhaps the most central aspect of Leftism: The Master Race. And this is what this cult is centered around and believe themselves to be. They believe they are the superior people. They are superior in compassion, in intelligence, etc. Thus it is a trifle for them to throw a crumb to Islam for they have no plans of being ruled by Islam. Islam, to them, is just another tribe (useful at the moment as a way to swing a sledgehammer at the West). They are just another segment to be coerced (eventually) to the Leftist paradigm.

But first things first. Destroy the West. Indoctrinate “white guilt” and whatever else it takes so that people have no affinity for anything that came before the cult or that exists outside of the cult’s beliefs. And somehow this is enough to distract people from the contradictions. Plus (not to be underrated), they’ve seen what happens to others who contradict them. Two plus two must continue to equal five.

This cognitive dissonance is extremely Orwellian. Think of doublethink — or “Oceania is at war with Eastasia. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.”
