As of 11/30/14, this movie is available for streaming on Netflix. And if you like your gangster films, add this one to your list.

But be forewarned that it is graphically violent. But this isn’t nihilistic violence, per se. There is a good story the violence is hung upon. I’d never heard of this movie but it is surprisingly good. This has a feel of a “slice of life” film rather than some big gangster production. It’s understated and works well because of that. But it is indeed violent.
